I am impressed with the methodology and growth of The Great Adventure: A Journey Through the Bible. The canonical approach that The Great Adventure employs is a marvelous way to introduce the faithful to salvation history. When Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the Magisterium are all brought together in study the result is a clearer picture of God's will, resulting in a roadmap for living. About the Actor
Jeff Cavins is the director of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute based in St. Paul, Minnesota. As the founding host of EWTN s Life on the Rock, he has been recognized both nationally and internationally as an exciting public speaker who has a deep love for Jesus Christ and who communicates his zeal with clarity and enthusiasm. Over the past several years, Jeff has dedicated his life to developing The Great Adventure, the extremely useful and practical interactive Bible study system that enables students to understand the chronological flow of the Scriptures. Jeff received an MA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He resides with his wife, Emily, and their three daughters in Minnesota.

This is a perfect way to read and understand your bible. Jeff Cavins gives simplistic ways of presenting the hardest passages. You read, and then view the hour long session. If you just devote an hour a week you can feel fed, and satisfied that you have a better understanding of God's word. You really don't have to purchase the study book guide to keep up. We purchased this for our Parish family for a bible study, they loved it. We will continue to show it as long as we can. It is a very good investment for your family, and parish family.

Have you ever wondered where your Catholic faith fits into salvation history? Why do Catholics do what they do? Where is that in the bible? Jeff Cavins, through study of the scriptures, has completely illuminated my understanding of the Catholic faith. Jeff's knowledge of scripture and history is both entertaining and informative. His simple format makes this bible study possible for all levels of bible knowledge. This study is a MUST HAVE for every parish.

I've been involved in scripture study for many years. Jeff Cavins' series, THE GREAT ADVENTURE is the liveliest and most engaging - my group of 8 won't miss a session!
